Lines For Albo (29)

Tony Abbott says the fifty cents a year each taxpayer spent getting us into the Security Council in the last five years was too much, too much money.

Can he say what was the right amount?

Thirty cents a year, perhaps?

He should give us a clue.

  1. “My mortgage is $710,000.00 and any amount more than that is clearly excessive.” (Tony Abbott)

    • Could that be part of his reason for so desperately wanting the PM prize ?
If he wins government it means he can rent the house out or sell it and be able to live at Kirribilli and the Lodge . It also means he earns more and can pay down the mortgage .
People can smell desperation ,it makes them uncomfortable . Its like a desperate boyfriend/girlfriend who rings you constantly .
I actually think he has become more unhinged every day and Gillard is just starting to blossom . She is more confident ,focused ,relaxed and on her game . Having the wonderful Mr Carr in cabinet is no doubt a huge advantage .

  2. No, it’s another achievement he can wind back.

  3. Abbott to Stefanovic this morning:

“what we won today, at the cost of many, many tens of millions of dollars”

even for breakfast tv, this is asinine, but then it is Tony

    • I do not get you Aussies, you are from a different planet, why would any even half sensible person think that Abbott has anything to offer to this nation…
      I give up.

  4. Sour grapes.
