Absurd is right. They are claiming without evidence that the Tamil might still believe in Tamils, as he is a Tamil how can he stop believing in Tamils?
And as the LTTE no-longer exists because the Sri Lankan government murdered most of them how can one join them?

The high ground
The last episode of Silk (an otherwise unexceptional pommy version of Crownies crossed with Rumpole) had an interesting theme.
The new QC successfully argued that her client was under duress to commit his crime, and the jury disobeyed the judge’s direction to give a ‘not guilty’ verdict.
The defendant was a free man. We heard shortly after that the men he worked for had cut off his nose, ripped out his eyes, cut out his tongue, cut off his fingers and cut off his ears. And then killed him.
The high ground is a wonderful thing to occupy, is it not? The QC still had a warm inner glow, no doubt to be replaced by mortification shortly.
Julian Assange maybe made up his mind to ask Ecuador for asylum after conducting this interview.
